Through Future Creators, you have the opportunity to be paired with mentors to help you build your very own technology project—anything from a robot car to a video game with a machine learning AI penguin—through a once a week digital mentorship program. It’s completely free!
Our mentee process.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a website. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, we can help make it a reality.
1. Apply.
Apply using our form below. Our program has limited capacity, we will determine your acceptance into a mentorship program based on your responses in the application.
2. Build It.
You will be matched with mentors University of Alberta engineering students and the tools required to build your project will be delivered right to your house. Also, the project kit is totally free!
3. Have Fun Learning.
Through digital mentorship sessions with your project group, your mentors will help you gain knowledge and walk you through building your project step by step—and you get to keep it when you’re done!
